The winners of the 2024 Korea Popular Culture And Arts Awards have finally been unveiled. Shin Goo, DAY6, Cha Eunwoo, Kenzie and more prominent South Korean stars have been honoured with the government prize this year. The official award ceremony will be held on October 31 at the Haeoreum Grand Theater.

About the Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards
Launched in 2010, the Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards is an government-run award ceremony hosted annually by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Korea Creative Content Agency. The event is held to honour those “who have made a contribution to contemporary pop culture and the arts, including actors, singers, comedians and models.”
There are four categories of awards, namely, Order of Cultural Merit, Presidential Commendation, Prime Minister’s Commendation and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Commendation. The Order of Cultural Merit is considered to be the highest honour among all the commendations.
