Ever since the reports of Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla starrer Son Of Sardaar’s sequel started surfacing online, fans have been super excited to witness the film on the big screen. Fans of the comedy-drama have been waiting with bated breaths for the movie. The duo is set to bring back their iconic rivalry, promising another round of laughter and excitement. This time, however, the film introduces Mrunal Thakur as the leading lady, replacing Sonakshi Sinha.

According to a report in Mid Day, the dynamic pair will reprise their roles as Billu and Jassi, but with a fresh and unique storyline. Unlike the first film, where their comedic clashes stole the show, the sequel will feature a more intense conflict with Sanjay’s character veering towards an antagonist role. Despite their onscreen rivalry, Ajay and Sanjay share a close bond offscreen, and Ajay has ensured that Sanjay has a stellar role in this instalment.
Son Of Sardaar 2 Shoot Schedule
The trio, along with the production crew, will embark on a 50-day filming schedule in the breathtaking landscapes of Scotland. Known for its castles, historic towns, lochs, and beaches, Scotland has been the backdrop for many iconic scenes from Game of Thrones and the Harry Potter series. Early this year, the direction team scouted and selected picturesque locations like Glencoe, Glenfinnan, Culross Palace, Doune Castle, Preston Mill, and Falkland Palace to set the stage for the film’s action and drama.
In addition to the thrilling plot, a few romantic songs featuring Ajay and Mrunal will be shot against Scotland’s stunning scenery, adding a touch of romance to the high-octane adventure.
