A three-alarm fire erupted at a tire shop in Jamaica, Queens, on Tuesday. Firefighters responded to the blaze at 150-05 Liberty Avenue around 5:15 p.m., where a two-story tire shop was engulfed in flames. All individuals inside the shop were safely evacuated, and EMS is on-site checking for any injuries.

Residents nearby have been advised to close their windows to avoid the toxic fumes from burning tires. Liberty Avenue has been closed as firefighters work to contain the fire. The cause remains under investigation.
