Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War brings together the biggest actors from the Indian film fraternity. The love triangle is headlined by Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. According to reports, the film will go on floors in October.
Ranbir Kapoor’s new look
Amid the speculation, Ranbir Kapoor was seen flaunting a new look recently. On Saturday, the actor celebrated his birthday with the paparazzi and fans outside his building, Vastu Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai. Ranbir sported a moustache with subtle stubble and wore a cap with his athleisure wear.
Earlier this week, Ranbir returned to Mumbai with his mother Neetu Kapoor and daughter Raha Kapoor after cheering for his wife Alia Bhatt at her Paris Fashion Week 2024 debut. He was spotted debuting in the new look.
Love And War update
According to Pinkvilla’s report, Love And War will go on floors in October with Ranbir. A source said, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali begins his journey on Love And War by shooting for some sole sequences featuring Ranbir Kapoor and then moves on to the friendship portions of RK and Vicky. He has planned and designed the schedule keeping the dates of his star cast in mind.”
Love And War is set to release on March 20, 2026. Talking about the film, Bhansali told Variety, “It’s a love story that I’m making after a long time. A slightly contemporary work, different from the dances, pillars, architecture, drapes, curtains, and jewellery [of Heeramandi]. It’s a new language, milieu, and ambience for me.”
He added, “It’s nice to work with this wonderful cast of Ranbir, Vicky, and Alia. It’ll be nice to see how their chemistry works. And [it is] a triangular love story, which has not come in Hindi cinema for a long time. So let’s see how it all shapes up.”
