TVS Radeon Gets New Affordable Base Variant Priced AT Rs 58,880

New Delhi: TVS Motor Company has introduced a new base variant of its Radeon commuter motorcycle, making it more affordable for buyers. The updated TVS Radeon is now available in an all-black colour option, priced at Rs 58,880 (ex-showroom), which is Rs 2,525 cheaper than the previous version. Notably, the base variant is Rs 17,514 less expensive than the mid-tier model. The Radeon now comes in three variants: Base, Digi Drum, and Digi Disc.
The new base model sports an all-black paint scheme with a bronze engine cover for contrast. The TVS and Radeon branding on the fuel tank and side panels remains unchanged. Apart from these updates, the bike retains its overall design and is offered in a total of seven colour options, including the all-black shade.
Powering the TVS Radeon is a 109.7cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 8.08 bhp at 7,350 rpm and 8.7 Nm of peak torque at 4,500 rpm, paired with a 4-speed gearbox. The bike is built on a single cradle tubular frame and features telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks. It has a 10-litre fuel tank and weighs 113 kg for the drum variant and 115 kg for the disc variant. The bike also boasts 180 mm of ground clearance, making it suitable for daily commutes.
For braking, the base variant features a 130 mm front drum brake, while the top model gets a 240 mm front disc. The rear brake setup consists of a 110 mm drum across all variants. The bike rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and is equipped with a Combined Braking System (CBS). Additional features include a colour LCD screen and a USB charging port.
