The makers of Malayalam actor Joju George’s directorial debut Pani took to their social media on October 16, to release the first full-length trailer of the film. Slated to release in theatres on October 24, the Malayalam film will also release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. However, it has not yet been confirmed whether all the five language versions will be releasing on the same day.

The team is currently busy with the final stages of post-production, post which promotions are expected to begin in full swing. Joju George took to his official Instagram handle in August to share a new poster of the film featuring him and bathed in hues of red, orange and yellow, with the emotional caption, “PAIN CHANGES PEOPLE …. New Behind-The-Scenes Material

We had reported when the first look poster of this highly anticipated film was released online. The first look of the film, which has also been written by the actor, was released on social media on May 28.

The makers of Pani had shared new stills featuring him and Abhinaya, who seems to be playing his wife’s role in the film. While Joju’s character in the film is named Giri, Abhinaya plays Gouri. The actor too took to his social media to share the images of himself and Abhinaya in character. The stills show both of them on location at the Sree Vadakkumnathan Temple in Thrissur.

An Extensive Cast For The Film

The upcoming film is expected to be a thriller drama that will showcase Joju in a different avatar. Pani’s cast will also feature a bunch of talented actors including Seema, Chandini Sreedharan, Abhaya Hiranmayi, Sona Maria Abraham, Merlet Ann Thomas, Lankha Lakshmi, Sarah Rose Joseph, Babu Namboothiri, Prashanth Alexander, Sujith Shanker, Ranjith Velayudhan, Bitto Davis, Rinosh George, Ian and Ivan, Ambu, Ramesh Girija, Doney Johnson, Bobby Kurien, Sagar, and Junaiz. The technical crew of the film includes cinematographer Venu ISC, editor Manu Antony, DI colourist Liju Prabhakar, and music director Vishnu Vijay.
