Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on October 31 participate in the National Unity Day celebration in Kevadia. The day happens to be the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel and is observed as National Unity Day every year.
On the occasion, the PM will lay the foundation of the Museum of Royal Kingdom near the Statue of Unity.
Museum of Royal Kingdom Near Ahmedabad
The museum will be built in honor of the 562 princely states of the country and will be spread across 5 acres. On the occasion of Unity Day on October 31, PM Modi will lay the foundation of the museum that will be built on the theme of sacrifice and renunciation of the royal families of the independence era.
The museum will be built at a cost of Rs 260 crores near the Statue of Unity in two years. The museum will have 5 different sectors including a Hall of Unity. The museum will showcase the supreme sacrifices of the royal families, their lifestyle and the decisions taken for the people.
National Unity Day Celebrations
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be participating in the celebrations on October 31 along with other leaders. Last year as well, the PM participated in the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas-related events.
He paid homage to Sardar Patel at the Statue of Unity on his birth anniversary. The PM witnessed the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Parade comprising contingents from BSF and various state police and daredevil show by all women CRPF Bikers, women pipe band of BSF, choreographed and programme by Gujarat women police and special NCC show among others.
