Date, Time for Muhurat trading 2024

There hasn’t been an official announcement on Muhurat Trading timing yet. A separate notification in this regard will be released by the BSE and NSE before to Diwali in 2024. According to the BSE website, “Muhurat Trading shall be held on November 01, 2024 (Diwali – Laxmi Pujan). Timings of Muhurat Trading shall be notified subsequently.” In past years, trading in the equity and equity derivatives segment usually starts at 6:15 PM and ends an hour later, at 7:15 PM. It should be noted by participants that fifteen minutes prior to the end of the session, all intraday positions will automatically be squared off. Those who are trading on the same day must carefully plan for this.

There will be two stock market holidays in November: Prakash Gurpurb Sri Guru Nanak Dev on Friday, November 15, 2024, and Diwali Laxmi Pujan on Friday, November 1, 2024.
