Pari Vishnoi, an inspiring figure from Rajasthan’s Ajmer, has made history by becoming the first female IAS officer from the Bishnoi community. Her achievement in passing the prestigious UPSC Civil Services Examination has brought joy not only to her family but also to her entire society.
Pari Vishnoi’s IAS Journey
At just 23 years old, she cleared the UPSC exam, a feat that required immense dedication and resilience. Born on February 26, 1996, in Kakra village, Bikaner, Pari is the daughter of lawyer Maniram Vishnoi and police officer Sushila Vishnoi. Before achieving her dream, Pari faced significant challenges, including two unsuccessful attempts at the examination.

Pari persisted in her goal in spite of failures in her early attempts. In her third attempt, she achieved All India rank of 30, realizing her dream of becoming an IAS officer.
Pari Vishnoi’s Education
Pari completed her early education at St. Mary’s Convent School in Ajmer. During her 12th grade, she resolved to become an IAS officer. Following her graduation from Delhi University, she immersed herself in UPSC preparation, never wavering from her goal. She also completed her postgraduate degree in Political Science from MDS University in Ajmer and passed the NET-JRF examination.
Pari Vishnoi Current Posting, Salary And Perks
According to various media reports, Pari Vishnoi is currently the Additional District Magistrate in Sikkim. An ADM with 5-8 years of experience makes, on average, Rs 67,700 per month. The official also get transportation allowance, housing rent allowance, and dearness allowance (DA). Therefore, Pari Vishnoi’s salary is estimated to be around Rs. 85,000 and Rs. 1,00,000 per month.
