BSNL unveiled its new logo depicting trust, strength, and national presence as it prepares to move on the 5G network in India. The new logo has been launched along with the launch of seven new services to better connectivity and user experiences.
Among the new services launched, it declared the spam-blocking service saying the network would be clean of spam through real-time detection and removal of spam communications. A Wi-Fi roaming service, which enables BSNL users to connect with any BSNL FTTH Wi-Fi network in their travels for seamless connectivity, was also launched. On its intranet TV service, BSNL launched the same with more than 500 premium channels offered to its fiber-to-the-home customers.
Another key innovation is bringing the Any Time SIM (ATS) kiosks, which would eventually make it easy to obtain a new BSNL SIM card. The kiosk was able to automatically dispense SIM cards and complete the KYC process and activate the cards itself.
BSNL also announced that it will lead the way to connect India’s first satellite-to-device connectivity on SMS services, aiming to enhance connectivity in remote or challenging environments where traditional networks do not penetrate with a view to enable uninterrupted communications, anywhere, anytime on land, air, or sea.
The company launched a disaster management service that promises an all-in-one, single one-time network solution that will better cater for communication in times of emergencies. BSNL plans to offer secured 5G network, especially designed according to the industry needs for industries related to mining, keeping in mind the specific requirements of the particular industry.
The Union Minister for Communications and Development of the North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, described BSNL’s commitment towards seamless, affordable, and accessible connectivity as transformative while hailing the new services being offered by the company.
