IIT Madras Pravartak Collabs With French University to Launch Aviation Safety Management Course

IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation is offering first-of-its-kind course in Indian Civil Aviation industry on ‘Aviation Safety Management’. The institute has collaborated with with L’Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC), a French university, to offer the course. Interested candidates can check the eligibility and apply till December 15, 2024.
Aviation Safety Management course is designed to train Safety Managers and Experts to lead, assess, improve and promote Safety Performance in various organizations in the Air Transport System. As a basic qualification criteria, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree.

As per the official release, the Principle Characteristics of the program include
- A Two-Year program with One week per Two months in-person program during the First year and one week per month during the 2nd year in-person program
- Faculty will be traveling from France to conduct the courses all throughout the program
- Includes a six-month project or Dissertation
- Working professionals in the Aviation industry, Senior and Mid-level managers in state authorities run aviation operators
