The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film Oshana, a coming-of-age musical love story, have released the new film‘s first official full-length trailer on October 29, Tuesday. The film introduces Balaji Jayarajan in the lead role, supported by a strong cast of actors including Dhyan Sreenivasan, Althaf Salim, Varsha Viswanath, and Gouri Gopan.
The Cast And Crew Of Oshana
The first look poster of the film was released recently. The first look poster of the features the characters played by actors Balaji, Varsha, Dhyan and Althaf. Interestingly, Dhyan is seen wearing a priest’s attire in the first look poster. Others in the cast include actors Boban Samuel, Sminu Sijo, Sabumon Abdusamad, Nizhalgal Ravi, Shaji Mavelikkara, Sabitha, Chithra Nair, and Krishna Sajith.
Oshana has been written by Jithin Jose and directed by debutant N V Manoj. The film, which has music by Mejo Joseph, marks the maiden production venture of Martin Joseph’s MJN Productions. Melbin Kurishinkal is the cinematographer and editing is handled by Sandeep Nandakumar.
Dhyan Sreenivasan’s Roster Of Releases
Dhyan Sreenivasan already has a slew of interesting releases this year, was last seen in Omar Lulu’s Bad Boyz. He is also part of Manoj Palodan’s Ideem Minnalum, Dhananjay Shankar’s Bha Bha Ba, Vinay Jose’s Cop Uncle, an untitled film with Vishnu Ithippara, and Detective Ujjwalan, an extension of the Weekend Cinematic Universe (WCU), which was announced, but has since been caught in a controversy because of an issue raised by the writers of Minnal Murali.
