Pickle World Cup award winners.
The Pickleball World Cup came to a successful end earlier this week. More than 500 picklers from 40 countries participated in the mega event. Team Puerto Rico emerged as the champions of the Pickleball World Cup. Local boy Bruno Semino created history at the marquee event and won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award at the World Cup.
“What an amazing experience and performance of the Peruvian Team to achieve the silver medal at the Pickleball World Cup 2024. It was a huge improvement of the team’s level as a whole. Game by game we were learning and putting into practice our best Pickleball possible, and that gave us a huge reward,” Semino wrote on Instagram.
Apart from Semino, a few more picklers were bestowed with the awards. Jerry Beck of the Cayman Islands was awarded with the ‘Best Captain’ award. The team from Puerto Rico was adjudged the best delegation.
