Florida Panthers Introduce Pickleball Courts To It’s Training Facility

Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the USA and National Hockey League (NHL) side Florida Panthers is a latest follower of the sport! The Panthers are the only NHL side to have a pickleball court inside their massive training facility, which is worth $65 Million.
With the growing popularity of the game, players from different racquet-sports have shifted their base due to it’s simplicity and the energy it brings. People of all ages from 5 to 80 are participating in this sport in America and in recent times movie celebrities, sports team are also showing interest in the sport.
Florida Panthers back in June, 2024 completed their training facility, which includes a number of pickleball courts for their players and staff. Apart from the courts, there are two 2 hockey rinks, music venue, weightlifting arena, huge range of food options and several exciting amenities.
The Panthers are not the only big name from other sports, who have promoted the game. From the Indian point of view, we have already seen top cricketers like MS Dhoni, Mithali Raj and Yuzvendra Chahal, trying their hand in the game. In tennis, Andre Agassi will be visiting India in January to officially flag off the start of the PWR DUPR Indian League as well as the Indian tour.
Coming back to USA, notable NFL (National Football League) names like Nick Foles, Larry Fitzgerald, Drew Brees and Shea McClellin and even the legendary Tom Brady have also tried their hand in the game.
The game is spreading thick and fast and even India has seen a huge spike of 150% pertaining to the sport. The PWR DUPR India Masters, held in the last week of the previous month from October 24 to 27 at the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association (DLTA) stadium turned out to be a grand success and with a number of events in lined up for the coming weeks, we can expect only better things to come.
