The theme of good versus evil has always been central to the Singham series, with Ajay Devgn’s character, Bajirao Singham, fighting against injustice. In Indian epics, the Ramayana best represents this theme. So, it’s no surprise that filmmaker Rohit Shetty is looking to the Ramayana for inspiration for his next film. According to reports, Singham Again, the third part of the series, will have similarities with the Ramayana. “The Ramayana has inspired filmmakers for generations. When Rohit started working on Singham Again, he wanted to offer something fresh but still connected to Indian culture. In a way, Ajay’s cop story is inspired by the classic epic, where good triumphs over evil,” says a source.
