Bebika Dhurve SLAMS TV, Decides Not To Return: ‘No Professionalism, Underpaid, Toxic’ – Exclusive
Bebika Dhurve, who won hearts with her stint on Bigg Boss OTT 2, is currently seen on Reality Ranis of the Jungle. Produced under Warner Bros. Discovery and hosted by Varun Sood, the adventure-based reality show premiered on Discovery Channel on September 23, 2024. Talking to Times Now/ Telly Talk India, Bebika drops a bombshell on the television industry. In a shocking revelation, the actress has decided to step away from television, citing serious concerns about the work culture. In an exclusive statement to us, Bebika didn’t hold back—calling out the industry for being toxic, unprofessional and severely underpaying its actors.
Bebika Dhurve will never return to television
Bebika Dhurve, who has been in the industry for a while, tells us, “I want to do more acting jobs now. The moment I did Bigg Boss and came out, Ekta Kapoor ma’am had called me. She told me that she had something very exciting for me. But she told me that I can’t do TV anymore but only web or movies. I am following whatever she’s saying because she is an epitome of success. She is a Boss Lady. I will never return to TV now but maybe I can do reality shows, web series or songs.”
Bebika adds, “TV is very toxic. I started my career with TV and bahut mushkil hota hain yaar. Professionalism maintain nahin hota hain. (There’s no professionalism). There are long working hours. People are not paid as per the hardship they do. That being said, I love TV but they can level up.”

Bebika Dhurve’s career
Bebika Dhurve gained immense fame after her stint on Bigg Boss OTT 2. However, she was evicted soon. Her other TV shows include Bhagya Lakshmi, Kundali Bhagya, Dhhai Kilo Prem, Pavitra Bhagya and 2011’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Bebika is also a dentist and an astrologist.
