Meanwhile, Karnataka BJP president BY Vijayendra hit out at the Congress government in the state and said that law and order has become a “thing of the past” since Congress took over the state. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the BJP leader wrote, “Law and order in Karnataka has become a thing of the past since Congress took over the state. Appeasement politics is on the rise, giving radicals a free rein to pelt stones at police stations, burn them down, attack police personnel, and ransack police vehicles. Despite these incidents, the CM of Karnataka comes out blaming the police personnel. Can appeasement get any worse?”
