It’s not a secret anymore that Kareena Kapoor Khan is a bigtime time foodie. A lot of times, she has accepted her love for Chinese and Italian cuisine is public. Though Bebo follows a healthy diet which mostly includes homecooked dishes, there are certain food items that she cannot resist. Recently, at the NDTV World Summit, Kareena revealed her favourite restaurant in Delhi is one of her go-to dining spots in the capital city. And guess what, it’s none other than Bukhara, a legendary restaurant located at the ITC Maurya Hotel. “Bukhara is my favourite,” she revealed. The restaurant is renowned for its rustic Northwest Frontier cuisine and has been a landmark in Delhi’s culinary offerings for decades.

Besides mentioning the fine dining restaurant, Kareena also expressed her fondness for the flavourful street food of Delhi. When discussing her favourite street eats, she enthusiastically mentioned Parathe Wali Gali, the famous lane in Chandni Chowk which is known for its variety of stuffed parathas. Although she hasn’t had the chance to visit Chandni Chowk recently, Kareena emphasised that Delhi’s food scene never fails to impress. “Delhi food is always gob-smacking,” she said.

Revealing her foodie side, she proudly states, “I am crazy about food, and I am very unapologetic about it.” Among her favourite Delhi treats are chole bhature and aloo paratha. As a member of the Kapoor family, known for their love of food, it’s no surprise that Kareena ended the conversation with a declaration of her affection for biryani. “Biryani, of course, I am a Kapoor yaar. I can go on and on about it.” she quipped.
