New Delhi: A fire broke out at the building of Nexra company in Delhi’s Mayur Vihar Phase 1. Reportedly, fire tenders are at the spot to douse the fire.

Fire Incidents In Delhi

In Dwarka Sector 18, officials reported a fire outbreak on the 10th floor of an apartment building. Swift action from the Delhi Fire Service, with the deployment of five fire tenders, managed to bring the flames under control. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

Similarly, in Paschim Vihar’s Eye Mantra Hospital, another fire incident occurred. Responding promptly to the emergency, around five fire tenders rushed to the scene, bringing the situation under control. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported, although the cause of the fire remains unknown.

However, tragedy struck in the Krishna Nagar area of East Delhi, where a massive fire engulfed a four-storey residential building. Police confirmed three fatalities and 10 injuries in the blaze. Prompt intervention from fire officials, alongside numerous fire tenders, helped contain the inferno.

In Vivek Vihar, an incident unfolded at the New Born Baby Care Hospital, where six newborns lost their lives in a raging fire. The Delhi Fire Department conducted a swift rescue operation, saving a total of 12 infants. Unfortunately, despite efforts, six newborns perished, while one remains on a ventilator, and five are receiving treatment.

Fire Officer Rajesh, said, “At 11:32 pm, Fire Service Control Room received information that fire broke out at a hospital…total 16 fire tenders reached the spot and fire has been extinguished completely. 2 buildings were affected by the fire, one is the hospital building and 2 floors of a residential building on the right side also caught fire…11-12 people were rescued and they were taken to hospital. Further details will be shared later”.

As investigations into the causes of these fires continue, authorities emphasize the importance of fire safety measures to prevent further tragedies.
