GOAT starring Vijay in the lead, is all set to release on OTT.
Directed by Venkat Prabhu, GOAT marks Vijay’s penultimate film before his plunge into politics.
The film which released in theatres on September 5, was praised for Vijay’s stellar performance and the cameos by Sivakarthikeyan, Trisha and AI version of Vijayakanth.

Taking to X, Netflix South announced that the film GOAT will release on the platform on October 3. The post stated that the film will release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
The tweet read “Ever seen a lion become a G.O.A.T?! 👀Thalapathy Vijay’s The G.O.A.T- The Greatest Of All Time is coming to Netflix on 3 October in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada & Hindi #TheGOATOnNetflix”.
During the promotions of the film, Venkat Prabhu said that GOAT’s OTT version will have an extended director’s cut. However it is uncertain if this OTT version of GOAT will deliver that.

About GOAT
The makers of Vijay and director Venkat Prabhu’s The Greatest of All Time, also known as, GOAT, have declared that it is the highest-grossing Tamil film of the year.
AGS Entertaining, the film’s official producers posted a video calling GOAT “the biggest blockbuster of 2024” and announced it as “highest grossing Tamil film of the year”.
Vijay’s GOAT is the highest-grossing Tamil film of the year minting over Rs 450 crore at the box office.
GOAT has crossed the earnings made by earlier hits this year, such as the Dhanush-starrer Raayan, Kamal Haasan and Shankar’s Indian 2, Vijay Sethupathi’s 50th film Maharaja, and Pa Ranjith and Vikram’s period film Thangalaan.
Apart from Vijay, GOAT also stars Prashanth, Ajmal Ameer, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhudeva, Mohan, and Jayaram in prominent roles. With them are Venkat Prabhu’s frequent collaborators Vaibhav, Premgi, Ajai Raj, and Aravind Akash.
GOAT has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The technical crew includes, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, editing by Venkat Raajen, art direction by Rajeevan, and action choreography by Dileep Subbarayan. Kalpathi S Aghoram has produced the film under the banner AGS Entertainment, with Archana Kalpathi as the creative producer.
