‘I Am Still Searching For My Daughter, Sheena Bora’: Indrani Mukerjea | Times Now Exclusive

Mumbai: In the sensational Sheena Bora alleged murder case, the prime accused Indrani Mukerjea has hit out at the Central Bureau of Investigation. In the recent hearing , the prosecution informed the trial court that the bones, the primary evidence in the case, went missing. Raising questions on the CBI’s probe, Mukerjea said ‘If the investigating agency is losing evidence, who is going to bell the cat ?’ In an exclusive interview to Times Now, Indranu Mukerjea said that she is still searching for her daughter Sheena Bora.

Indrani Mukerjea termed the entire investigation as a ‘circus’. “I am just not able to make sense and put the pieces together to solve this puzzle. More and more it has become a maze. I need closure for this entire drama. This Circus should end,” Mukejea stated.

“This is not my claim. If today prosecution is saying that they have lost evidence. I believe that the evidence never existed framing me could be personal, financial or something. I am not aware of,” she added.

The Sheena Bora Murder accused said that after the CBI’s ‘evidence lost claim’ had given her more reasons to believe that Bora is still alive. “If the skeletal bones have vanished, this gives me more reason to believe that she could be alive. There is nothing con to show that Sheena is not there anymore,” she said.

Indrani Mukerjea’s Interview:

“I am of the belief that truth and justice always prevail. A lot of injustice was done to me. In the process, the truth is emerging. Each of the prosecution witnesses is crumbling bit by bit,” Mukerjea added.

The Sheena Bora murder accused also alleged that the prime witness in the case, Rahul Mukerjea, could have been interrogated. “The prosecution tried to establish last seen theory with me what it could have been with Rahul Mukerjea. There should be the custodial interrogation of Rahul Mukarjeai without fail. This is how Sheena will get justice. It’s about my entire family falling apart. They have played with the lives of three women they have made a mockery out of it,” she stated.

Indrani Mukerjea told Times Now that there was evidence on record that Sheena was alive till September 2012 and she did not disappear in April 2022 that year. “There have been claims by other people that Sheena has been spotted here. I have never been contacted by Sheena since April 2012. She has not contacted me. She has been with Rahul Mukerjea. He had been picking her up (the context of the chat),” she added.

Indrani Mukerjea said that she wanted Sheen Bora to be alive and wanted to spend time with her. “I am already searching for Sheena. I have received no help from anybody looking for her for two years. I am spending most of my time trying to get whatever information I can get about her. I hope someday I find her My needle of suspicion has always pointed towards Rahul Mukharji,” Indrani Mukerjea said.

She further told Times Now that she was writing a second book on Seena Bora. “I am writing my second book. I am spending a lot of time in search of Sheena. Apart from that I am into physical fitness. I have taken a dancing I enjoy dancing which has become an eye sore people,” Indrani Mukerjea said.

On Friday, the prosecution informed the trial court that bones, claimed by the CBI to be Sheena Bora’s remains, have gone missing. Ranjeet Sangle, the advocate representing Indrani Mukerjea, described this as a significant blunder by the agency.

The next hearing in the case is scheduled for June 27. Special Public Prosecutor CJ Nandode told the court that an intensive search for the bones examined by the forensic expert had been unsuccessful.

Notably, Indrani Mukerjea is currently out on bail.
