A photo of Elon Musk and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, clicked at an award ceremony in New York went viral on social media, sparking dating rumours. During the event, Tesla CEO praised Meloni, and described her as “authentic, honest, and truthful.”
While presenting her with the Atlantic Council Global Citizen Award, Musk remarked it was an honour to give the accolade to “someone who is even more beautiful on the inside than on the outside.”
Musk said, “Giorgia Meloni is someone I admire, who has done an incredible job as the Prime Minister of Italy. She’s also someone who is authentic, honest, truthful – and that can’t always be said about politicians.”
Thanking the billionaire, Meloni too to X(formerly Twitter), and wrote, “Grazie Elon.” Following the event, a Tesla fan club posted a picture of Musk and Meloni and write, “Do you think they’ll date?.” The post sparked rumours among the users, with people speculating that two are in relationship. However, Musk later clarified saying, “We are not dating.”
According to a media reports, Meloni was honoured with the award for her “strong support of the EU” and for becoming Italy’s first female prime minister.
