Jamai Raja Actress Achint Kaur Announces Her Mother’s Demise In Heartbreaking Note

Achint Kaur, known for her performances in TV shows like Jamai Raja and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, is going through a tough time. The actress lost her mother on October 2, 2024. In an emotional post shared last night, Achint said that her mother passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and light. The cremation ceremony is scheduled to take place today, October 3, at 9:00 am.

The post read, “Dear Friends and Family, It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news of Achint’s Mom, Ms Gurmit, passing. She left us peacefully, and while we are heartbroken, we find solace in remembering the love and light she brought to our lives. Her cremation ceremony will take place tomorrow, October 3rd, at 9:00 AM . Please keep Anna in your thoughts and prayers.”

Achint Kaur is particularly recognised for her roles as Mandira and Pallavi in Ekta Kapoor’s soap operas, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, respectively. She also voiced the character Shenzi in the Hindi version of the movie The Lion King. She portrayed the roles of a mother and a mother-in-law in Jamai Raja. Achint initially started her career with Banegi Apni Baat in 1994 and worked in Swabhimaan in 1995 in which she played the role of Soha.
