The BJP on Sunday released its first list of 99 candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024. Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis will contest from Nagpur South West, state BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule from Kamthi, minister Girish Mahajan from Jamner, minister Sudhir Mungantiwar from Ballarpur, Sreejaya Ashok Chavan from Bhokar, Ashish Shelar from Vandre West, Mangal Prabhat Lodha from Malabar Hill, Rahul Narwekar from Colaba and Chhatrapati Shivendra Raje Bhosale from Satara.
Maharashtra will go to polls on November 20, to elect the 288 members to its Legislative Assembly. The counting and results will be declared on November 23.
BJP’s First List For Jharkhand
The BJP on Saturday released the first list of 66 candidates for the Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2024. The state party chief, Babulal Marandi, has been fielded from Dhanwar, Lobin Hembrom from Borio, Sita Soren from Jamtara, former CM Champai Soren from Saraikella, Geeta Balmuchu from Chaibasa, Geeta Koda from Jaganathpur, and Meera Munda from Potka.
“The decision taken by the party is a good decision,” Soren said after the list was released. “In the coming elections, BJP’s performance will be the best and our government will be formed. We are fully prepared…Whatever work the BJP gives me I will do that,” he added.
Jharkhand will go to polls in two phases on November 13 and 20 and the counting of votes will be held on November 23.
