Meghan Markle has reportedly chosen to delay releasing her own tell-all memoir, following in Prince Harry’s footsteps, for a key reason, an insider claims.
In January 2023, Harry’s explosive memoir ‘Spare’ revealed several bombshell allegations against members of the Royal Family, including Prince William, Princess Kate, King Charles, and Queen Camilla.
Since then, speculation has arisen that Meghan might make a move similar to her husband’s, but she appears to have instead concentrated on launching her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.
However, one insider believes the Duchess of Sussex may be waiting for the ideal moment to release her own tell-all book for a specific reason and any authorized biography could make her “tens of millions.”
A source told Closer Online: “The word in publishing circles is that everyone’s mad to land Meghan’s memoirs and the numbers being thrown around are ridiculously high.”
“We’re talking tens of millions for her authorised biography – it’s going to get to the point where she can’t say no.
“And love her or hate her, there’s no denying that she has an insight into the royals that no one else can share.”
They added: “She’s strategically chosen to hold off for the sake of peace, but she absolutely wants to share her truth – and why shouldn’t she?”
Prince Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’ was a significant commercial success, reportedly earning him £27 million, including an advance of at least £14 million.
However, relations with the Royal Family particularly with William completely deteriorated following the claims Harry made against some family members.
Harry traveled to the UK this week and appeared all smiles while attending an awards ceremony for the charity WellChild, although it is understood he did not meet any of the royals.
Meghan has not been pictured in the UK for more than two years since she and Harry were in the country when Queen Elizabeth II passed away in September 2022.
