Modern Family star Ed O’Neill has booked his next TV role. He has been roped in to play a recurring character on Ryan Murphy’s All’s Fair, starring Kim Kardashian. Other series regular parts belong to actors Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, Teyana Taylor, and Matthew Noszka. Here’s what we know so far about O’Neill’s possible role in the Hulu series.
Ed O’Neill joins the cast of All’s Fair
After the limited series Clipped, in which O’Neill played racist owner of the Clippers, Donald Sterling, the actor is staying in the Hulu family. The veteran, who is known for his role as Jay Pritchett on the global hit comedy series Modern Family, has been added as a recurring character on the legal drama All’s Fair. Kardashian plays the most successful divorce lawyer at an all-female firm in Los Angeles.
As per a Variety report, O’Neill is said to take on the role of Glenn Close’s husband in the series. Close’s character is a former powerful Hollywood studio head and the firm’s founder. The three-time Emmy nominee also starred in the classic American sitcom Married… with Children opposite Katey Segal.

About Kim Kardashian’s All’s Fair
After the series was announced, the cast got a bit of a shakeup after Halle Berry left the production in July. She could not fit it into her schedule. All’s Fair is one of many series Ryan Murphy is currently working on, including The Beauty, American Love Story, and the third season of Monster. Murphy is writing and executive producing the legal series alongside Kris Jenner, Kardashian’s mother. He will also be directing the series.
All’s Fair will be Kardashian’s second leading role after the 12th season of American Horror Story: Delicate, which is also produced by Murphy. In the last few years, the reality TV star and businesswoman has been studying to take the bar exam after she became passionate about criminal justice reform.
