Morgan Freeman Narrates Kamala Harris Video At DNC, Netizens Say ‘Only Getting Started’

Morgan Freeman’s voice was recognized as the voiceover for a Kamala Harris video on the last and final day of DNC 2024 in Chicago. Users of X (formerly Twitter) were abuzz with the sudden discovery. One even wrote, “We’re just getting started.”

Contrary to messages on social media in late June that promoted the story, American actor Morgan Freeman did not declare his support for Donald Trump before of November’s presidential election. However, in an email to Reuters, a Freeman representative said, “Morgan Freeman never stated he was supporting Trump.”

The advertisement was posted as a whole by KamalaHQ on X (formerly Twitter), and the voice of one of Hollywood’s greatest, Freeman, was immediately recognized by the online crowds.

Now, during the DNC, Freeman’s voice was heard narrating a Kamala Harris video during the fourth and last day. Ahead of the State of the Union speech this year, Freeman appeared in a White House-posted YouTube video, opens new tab, where he and other actors who have portrayed American presidents in motion pictures conversed with President Biden and he solicited their opinion. Freeman also provided the narration for an advertisement that promoted Hillary Clinton in the run-up to the 2016 election.

At Chicago’s National Democratic Convention (DNC) on Thursday night, US Vice President Kamala Harris is set to speak to the American people. As she formally receives her party’s nomination for the 2024 presidential contest, Harris is likely to praise her outgoing employer, President Joe Biden, in her much-anticipated keynote address.

The announcement of Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota, as Harris’ running mate will come after her speech. On Wednesday, Walz made his official debut to the country, emphasizing his willingness to back Harris in her presidential campaign.
