Using traditional Odia techniques like smoking meat in Sal leaves and featuring rare ingredients such as Ambulo (elephant apples) and palm jaggery, each dish reflects the region’s rich heritage. Part of the proceeds from this exclusive event will go towards supporting the Mayurbhanj Foundation.

Once found on nearly every street corner, these cafés are now dwindling, with only a few remaining. Experience the old-world charm of these establishments by sampling dishes such as Parsi doughnuts, ‘Parsi cutless’ and pattice, and the legendary “Irani” chai, while hearing stories of the city’s Zoroastrian community in what was once their quarter. Originally from Greece, Chef Dimitrios Moudios has been in the culinary world since he was 14 and boasts a distinguished background, including time at the renowned 3 Michelin-starred Atelier in Munich. His exclusive chef’s table, “Ōre,” meaning “something you like” in Greek, features only eight seats and offers a carte blanche tasting menu of 25 to 30 dishes, using organic vegetables and techniques like smoking, grilling, and pickling to create a unique culinary experience with bold flavours and artistic presentations.
