The show must go on! Someone has rightly said that success and failure don’t define your next move but the desire to keep flying high, learn, and experiment with each move is what keeps one going. Times Now/Telly Talk India is back with a big update about the showbiz world. An insider tells us that Nivedita Basu, who has been a producer and creative director with Balaji Telefilms and was running things at Atrangii Ullu, has called it quits.
Nivedita QUITS Atrangii Ullu
Basu has many hit shows to her credit. After being associated with Ektaa Kapoor and Balaji, the creative genius chose to join the team of Vibhu Agrawal’s Atrangii Ullu as a Vice President.
Our source confirms, “This week itself Nivedita has quit as the Vice President of Atrangii Ullu.”
Well, on hearing the news, we straight forwardly called Basu, who confirmed the news. She says, “Yes, I have put down papers. I haven’t decided what next but can assure you it is going to be something bigger and better for sure.”
Ask her what became the reason behind her decision to quit Atrangii Ullu. Nivedita mentions how this is a very thought-about decision. She says, “I have thought about this, and after proper understanding, I decided to move forward. With Atrangii, there were a few limitations, and Vibhu has given me creative freedom, but now I feel it’s time that I move ahead.”
Speaking about her journey with Atrangii Ullu, Nivedita says, “Television is not easy to run; kyunki kya hai na TV jaise apke private channels hai, free to air jaise hai, woh itna acha kar rahe hai itne salo se ki aaj ek naya channel launch karna aasan nahi hai. Bahaut kuch table par offer karna padega and with a price to sustain. Jo admi web se aaya ho uske liye television baaut jaldi result anhi dega, toh ussi decision ko le kar we chose to run Atrangii app after we did run Atrangii ka channel.”
“I brought about a lot of changes in Atrangii as a channel, as an app. I did lauch three different apps,” concludes Nivedita.
