Bengaluru, widely known as a hub for tech professionals, even autorickshaw drivers are making waves with their inventive ideas. One recent example is a driver who replaced his usual seat with an office chair, offering himself extra comfort while navigating the city’s busy streets.

A photo shared by X user Shivani Matlapudi shows the auto driver casually seated on a swivel office chair, offering ergonomic support during his rides. “Auto driver’s seat had an office chair fixed for extra comfort, man I love Bangalore,” Matlapudi captioned the viral picture on social media.

The post quickly went viral, with many X users praising the driver’s creativity. One user dubbed it the “Beauty of Bangalore,” while another joked, “Auto driver simulation game went too far this time.” Some applauded the driver’s attention to his well-being, noting the chair’s design for long hours of sitting. “At least he cares for his posture,” commented one user, while another said, “Back problems are real.”

Even David Hoang, VP – Head of Design, AI at Atlassian, chimed in, expressing his eagerness to visit the city. “I’m going to Bangalore soon and can’t wait to experience it!” he wrote.

However, not everyone was impressed, with some raising concerns about safety and legality. “That’s probably violating some section of the Motor Vehicles Act. Every part needs to be certified, especially those concerning safety,” pointed out one commenter who claimed to work in the design department of a German truck manufacturing company.

In another peak Bengaluru moment, an autorickshaw driver has gone viral on social media after a photo of him accepting payment via a QR code on his smartwatch surfaced online. The image, captioned “Auto anna pulled out the #peakBengaluru move,” shows the driver presenting the QR code to a customer using his smartwatch.
