KTM, the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, is planning on adding new models and updated versions of old models to its range in the international market. At the same time, the brand in India is also set to update the models currently on sale. Among these updated motorcycles will be the KTM 390 Adventure, which has been recently spied testing on Indian roads. The bike represents the brand in the adventure touring segment and is a prime rival to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.

The KTM 390 Adventure was spotted in a version very close to the production-spec of the bike. Because of the very minimal use of camouflage, the spy shots reveal quite a few details of the adventure bike. Getting into the details, the brand has updated the front fascia of the bike with a new design featuring a twin headlamp design with spherical lenses where one is placed over the other. On either side, it gets LED DRLs and a big windscreen over the headlamp.

The lines of the body seem to be slightly changed. However, the silhouette is more or less the same. It also continues to have an upright seating position with the footpegs placed to give the rider a relaxed stance. It continues to have high-ground clearance to aid its off-roading prowess. Furthermore, the bike has wire-spoked wheels.

The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure is seen supported by adjustable USD telescopic forks at the front and an adjustable mono-shock at the rear. It also gets a banana-shaped swingarm, and an underbelly exhaust tucked right in place.

The brand has also made sure to load the bike with features. It gets a TFT screen which is positioned higher to give the rider an easier view. We can also expect the bike to have features, ABS, riding modes, traction control, and more.

Powering the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure will use a 3999 cc liquid-cooled DOHC 4V single-cylinder engine. This power unit paired with a 6-speed gearbox gives out 45 bhp of power and 40 Nm of peak torque on the 390 Duke and might be tweaked differently for the Adventure bike.
