Sara Ali Khan Performs Shiv Pooja On Birthday, Celebrates At Orphanage
Sara Ali Khan is celebrating her 29th birthday today. Born to Saif Ali Khan and his ex-wife Amrita Singh, she has followed her parents’ footsteps into acting. The actress celebrated her birthday without pomp and show.
Sara Ali Khan celebrated her 29th birthday with her family members and close friends. Starting the day on an auspicious note, the actress performed the pooja of Lord Shiva at home on Shravan Somvaar. The actress visited an orphanage later in the day and was seen interacting with an adorable kid who gifted her a special handmade card.
Sharing pictures from her close-knit birthday celebration, Sara wrote, “Bliss, Joy & Gratitude 🙏🏻☮️🧿🪬 Thank you for all the birthday wishes (sic).”
If noticed carefully, a photo of the Kedarnath temple can be seen in the post. In a previous interview, Sara Ali Khan spoke about believing in secularism. She said, “I was born to a secular family, in a sovereign, secular, democratic republic. The spirit of standing up against what is wrong is within me. So, if I see it happening to not just me, but anybody around me, I will stand up. My religious beliefs, my food choices, how I decide to go to the airport, that’s my decision, and I’ll never apologise for that.”

Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming film is Metro… In Dino. It also stars Anupam Kher, Ali Fazal, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Neena Gupta. It will be releasing later this year.
