Shillong Teer Result: 1st, 2nd Round Winning Numbers for Today’s Lottery (28.09.2024)

Shillong Teer, Juwai Teer, Khanapara Teer and Jowai Teer are all archery-based lotteries of Meghalaya. The state, which recently launched India’s first-ever digital lottery, also has one of the older and well-established programs.

While Meghalaya is not unique for having a legal, government-run lottery system, which 12 other Indian states also have, it’s still one of its kind, because the program does away with the traditional lucky draw method altogether.

Instead, in Shillong Teer, as the name suggests, a game of archery is played to determine the result. Each game features two rounds. In both the rounds, archers shoot arrows in an attempt at hitting the target.

The competition is organised by the KHASI Hills Archery Sports Institute (KHASI), which has 12 associate clubs, at the Shillong Polo Ground.

At the end of each round, the number of arrows that successfully end up on the target are counted. This final tally, in turn, becomes the lucky number for that round.

So, if the number is 63, in order to win a Shillong Teer prize, you have to try and predict that number. It could be anything between 0 and 99.

All Teer games are played six days a week, with no action taking place on Sunday.

The results are announced at the end of each round, after the target hits have been verified. This can take a while. However, since the events are spread out throughout the day, an update or two is always around the corner.

Shillong Teer ticket sales begin at 10 am each day. The prices for these tickets range from Rs. 1 to Rs. 100 but have no bearing on the prizes won.Correctly guessing the first round winning numbers can be win players Rs. 80 while getting their second round predictions right can fetch Rs. 60.If you accurately predict the number of arrows shot in both rounds for a Rs 1 bet, you can win up to Rs. 4000.
