Shillong Teer result today (05.10.2024): In India, lottery is legal in as many as 13 states, which means close to half of all the country’s subdivisions have a government-run lottery program. Still, Meghalaya’s Teer games are unique in that they don’t rely on the conventional lucky draw system, instead the results are decided by archery.

The results come in two parts as winning numbers for each round of an archery game.
Shillong Teer is one of three main Teer lotteries in Meghalaya, taking place Monday through Saturday at the Shillong Polo Ground. It is conducted by the KHASI Hills Archery Sports Institute (KHASI), with participants from the organisation’s 12 affiliated clubs competing.
Each lottery features two rounds of archery, in which these archers shoot a number of arrows. The ones that hit the target are counted as that round’s winning number. Players place their bets on a number between 0 and 99, in order to match it.
If you get the first round number, correct in Shillong Teer, you can win Rs. 80, against ticket prices that go as low as Rs. 1. Correctly predicting the second round’s winning number earns you Rs. 60.
The prize for guessing both the numbers accurately is Rs. 4,000.
