Taylor Swift is reportedly set to endorse Kamala Harris within a few weeks, wanting to see a woman in the White House. The 34-year-old pop star has not publicly declared her support for any 2024 presidential candidate yet. Harris could become the first female president if she defeats Donald Trump in November.
Swift was rumored to attend the recent Democratic National Convention (DNC), but she did not show up, disappointing her fans, known as Swifties. Despite her absence, several references to her songs were made at the event, and a couple of Democratic leaders came out as proper Taylor Swift fans.

Now, the US Sun cited a source close to the singer to report that Swift will publicly endorse Kamala Harris around ‘four to six weeks’ before the US election on November 5. President Joe Biden’s team was reportedly pushing to get the hitmaker’s support when his campaign started faltering earlier this year. The 81-year-old eventually bowed out of the race. Swift had backed Biden in 2020.
Donald Trump, who recently posted an AI image of Taylor Swift falsely implying her support for him, publicly said that he ‘doesn’t understand’ why the singer will vouch for Democrats. The US Sun cited an insider to add that Swift ‘is excited’ about the prospect of Kamala Harris creating history in November.
