Women Caucus At DNC Forgot National Anthem Lyrics? Laura Loomer’s Claim Sparks Debate

Laura Loomer, the far-right commentator and journalist, alleged that during the Women’s Caucus’ performance of the national anthem at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday, some of the members forgot the lyrics. She posted a video of the performance and said that this is ‘expected from the party that hates America.’

“I am at a loss for words. I guess this is expected from the party that hates America and wants our country to be taken over by COMMUNISTS! Vote Republican!” she said in a post on X.

However, it is hard to tell from the video if thy group forgot the lyrics or not. It seems that while two people are singing at the microphone, others are doing several things.

One of them is recording the performance, another can be seen doing something on the table. Two of them seem to be observing something that is not visible in the camera. As a result, it is not possible to say definitively is they forgot the lyrics.

What’s Scheduled For Day 2 of DNC?

Former President Barack Obama, former first lady Michelle Obama and second gentleman Doug Emhoff will speak at the DNC, a day after the unofficial farewell for President Joe Biden, who served eight years as Obama’s vice president. Biden won’t be in the hall to see his former running mate speak, as he departed Chicago Monday after delivering his own speech.

With President Biden having addressed delegates, the week’s full focus now turns to Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov Tim Walz.
