Yashasvi Jaiswal who has made a record-breaking start to his Test career had a rare failure in the longest format as he made just 30 runs in the first innings and was dismissed for 9 in the second.
Sarfaraz Khan – 4/10
Sarfaraz Khan was dismissed for knock of 9 in the first innings before making a quick-fire knockof 46 in 36 balls in the second innings.
Rishabh Pant – 7/10
On his return to red-ball cricket after 21 months, Rishabh Pant managed just 7 runs in the first innings before a cracking knock of 61 in 47 balls in the second outing. He was exceptional behind the stumps too.
Washington Sundar – 2/10
Aiming to make a comeback to the Indian Test team after three years, Washington Sundar made 0 and 9 with the bat. He picked one wicket each in both innings.
Mukesh Kumar 5/10
Mukesh Kumar, who has played 4 Tests for India over the last year had an impressive outing taking three wickets in the first innings and two in the second innings.
Shubman Gill – 2/10
India’s established number three in Test cricket, Shubman Gill struggled for runs. The captain of the India A side made 25 and 21 runs in both innings respectively.
KL Rahul – 6/10
KL Rahul looked solid in both innings with gritty knocks of 37 and 57 respectively as he aims to make a comeback to the Indian Test team after missing the last four Tests against England due to injury.

Dhruv Jurel equalled MS Dhoni’s record for the most dismissals in an innings in the Duleep Trophy but with the bat he struggled and made just two runs in the first innings and a duck in the second innings.

Kuldeep Yadav who has arguably been the best spinner in world cricket across formats for the last year had a disappointing outing taking just one wicket in the whole match.
Avesh Khan – 3/10
Avesh Khan, who was named in India’s Test squad for the start of England series is someone not far away from a debut. However, he did not have the best of outing taking just three wickets in the match.
Akash Deep – 10/10
Akash Deep, who made his Test debut against England in February was the star of the match as he took four wickets in the first innings and followed it up with a five-wicket haul in the second. He also scored a quick-fire 42-ball 43.
Shreyas Iyer – 4/10
Shreyas Iyer captained the India-D team after being dropped from the Test squad mid-way in the England series. Shreyas had a poor outing in the first innings making just nine runs before a quick-fire half-century (54 in 44 balls) in the second.
Devdutt Padikkal – 4/10
Devdutt Padikkal made an impressive debut for India against England in Dharamshala. He was dismissed for a duck vs India C before a solid knock o f 56 in 70 balls in the second innings.
Axar Patel – 9/10
Axar Patel rescued India D’s innings from 48-6 in the first innings with a brilliant knock of 86. He also made 28 runs in the second outing. With the ball, he took a total of three wickets in the two innings.
Arshdeep Singh – 2/10
Arshdeep Singh was a key part of India’s T20 World Cup win and is being tipped for a Test debut soon. Arshdeep managed just two wickets in the match despite playing on a pace friendly surface in Anantpur.
Ruturaj Gaikwad – 3/10
Ruturaj Gaikwad is yet to make his debut for India in Tests but has been regularly part of the squad. He led India C and was dismissed for a knock of 5 in the first innings before making a quick-fire knock of 46 in 28 balls.
Rajat Patidar – 3/10
Rajat Patidar who made his debut and featured in three matches against England made 13 runs in the first innings and followed it up with a knock of 44.
